Our Eco Workshop: Beekeeping introduces children to the amazing world of bees and the important role they play in keeping our planet healthy.
Although it sounds adventurous, it is fully safe, age-appropriate, and designed to inspire curiosity — not direct contact with live bees.
This experience helps children understand how nature works, why bees matter, and how we can protect them.
Bees are one of the most important creatures on Earth.
Children learn that bees help:
Pollinate flowers and crops
Create fruits and vegetables we eat
Support the entire food chain
Keep ecosystems balanced
This workshop helps children develop respect, awareness, and appreciation for nature, a core Wild Roots values.
Children view bees behind protective film, watching & learning how they move, communicate, and work together.
We teach:
Worker bees
Queen bee
Royal egg
Honeycomb
Honey
Bee jobs in the hive
Everything is carefully controlled and supervised.
Children taste responsibly sourced honey and learn:
“How does a bee make honey?”
“What flowers did the bees visit?”
“What is a hive?”
(Only honey — no bee handling.)
